Boma One Pacific Corporation is founded by Silicon Valley marketers Ted Fong and Marielle Valdez in the year 2002. With headquarters in Sacramento, California, and a production center in Manila, Philippines, Boma has built a strong reputation for providing speedy, intelligent, and personalized goods and services to its customers.
It operates two very distinct businesses – Branded Products Group (BPG) and Marketing Valet. Yet they are connected by the same vision to:

WHAT WE DO
Branded Products Group (BPG) is the retail division of Boma One Pacific Corporation. Under its umbrella are brands that cater both to the local and international scene, with Balikbayan Gear as its flagship brand marketed in more than 150 retail stores in the Philippines as well as in the U.S.
Today, Balikbayan Gear offers a complete line of travel accessories to its clientele, which includes SM Department Stores, Watsons, Ace Hardware, Rustans, Robinsons, True Value, and
Duty Free. Other brands under the retail group are LoveManila, Style-To-Go car accessories and lunch kits, SmartBags, ClosetworX, Mari & Co. and BBG Manila.

MEET THE EXECUTIVE TEAM
Ted Fong is Marketing Valet's President and CEO. He co-founded Marketing Valet in 2002 with Marielle Valdez, following a 12-year marketing career in Northern California. Prior to Marketing Valet, Ted was a marketing director at the enterprise software venture Interwoven, and worked at Cognex Corporation and Alcatel North Asia Pacific in various marketing positions. During his tenure at Interwoven, the company went public and reached a market capitalization of $5 billion. Ted earned a B.S. in Bioengineering from U.C. Berkeley, and an MBA. from UCLA.
Marielle Valdez is Marketing Valet and BPG’s Managing Director. She co-founded Marketing Valet after sixteen years of developing marketing strategies for Silicon Valley companies like artificial intelligence vendor IntelligenceWare and database companies Ashton-Tate, Sybase, and Informix. Marielle managed Sybase’s Beta Programs for SQL Server, and later became the Product Marketing Manager for Sybase IQ. As Senior Product Manager in charge of XML and wireless strategies at Informix, she orchestrated its products’ compliance with current web standards. Marielle has a B.S. in Business and Economics from the De La Salle University in Manila and an MBA in International Business from Pepperdine University in California. She lives in Sacramento, CA.
Year 2008 was a memorable year for BOMA as Marielle Valdez was awarded as one of the Top 10 Outstanding Entrepreneurs of Entrepreneur Magazine. She was chosen amongst 200 candidates and awarded not only because of hard work and financial success, but more importantly, for making a difference and contributing to the local economy.
