- Receives process laboratory requests including phone in request.
- Conducts basic patient assessment.
- Conducts patient education.
- Ensures completeness of patient information and assessment form.
- Receives laboratory specimen collects blood from IN and OUT patients.

- Transcribes and validates results on the result form.
- Reports panic values or to be called results by phone
