Intervida Philippines Foundation is a non-stock, non-profit, non-partisan and non-government organization which was duly licensed by the Securities and Exchange Commission to perform its work in the Philippines under Company Reg. No. FN200419384 (issued in Manila on Dec. 17th, 2004) as branch office of Fundacio Privada Intervida, a foreign corporation organized under the laws of Catalonia (Spain).
Our MISSION is that we are an international cooperation for development NGO which acts locally with the communities to promote sustainable social change by improving the living conditions of vulnerable populations, especially children, and by acting upon the causes of poverty and inequality.
The VISION of Intervida is to achieve sustainable changes over a medium term in the areas where it acts through the efficient management of resources, the active participation of the community and the involvement of public institutions.
The GOAL of INTERVIDA PHILIPPINES FOUNDATION is to contribute to reduce the poverty status of the marginalized populations, specially the children, in the 216 INTERVIDA-beneficiary communities in Bicol region. Through the undertaking of viable, equitable and sustainable development projects, we aim to achieve an improvement of the health, education and economical development conditions of the target beneficiaries in the partner communities in Bicol region.
