This role is tasked to identify, design, develop, and maintain solutions and applications intended to improve workflow efficiencies for the Tampakan Project utilising up-to-date information technology platforms that ensure availability of essential data and comply with SMI’s information systems architecture.
Key responsibilities will include :
• Develop, test, implement, and maintain appropriate products, tools, systems, and applications designed to function reliably and meet SMI’s business needs.
• Apply up-to-date software and applications design theories and principles to ensure that the products are developed in accordance with customer’s configuration requirements and the company’s information system platforms.
• Review, evaluate, and carry out validation of existing applications’ enhancement opportunities and modify as needed to integrate revisions with the total systems infrastructure.
• Build robust modules meeting the design specifications of each developed product to ensure resources and references are made available.
• Ensure that the applications and software development process and its associated programs have efficient controls, monitoring, and records management in place to manage and sustain ongoing compliance with internal, corporate, and external regulations and reporting requirements.
Key requirements :
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or any related field
• 3 - 5 years experience specializing in development of SharePoint applications, web development, .NET programming, and Microsoft Visual Studio Programming
• In-depth working knowledge on enterprise database servers
• Demonstrated technical expertise and project management capabilities
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
