is urgently in need of a
WEB DESIGNER
Qualifications:
• Male or female
• Minimum 3 years web design and development work experience
• Strong knowledge of Web Code/Markup; primary requirements in XHTML and CSS, while knowledge in Javascripts and AJAX would be an advantage but not required.
• Strong UI Design and Graphics Design Background
• Photoshop knowledge
• Knowledge in browser compatibility issues
• A highly creative approach to Web Design and familiarity with trends in design and technology
Responsibilities:
• Designing and creating page layouts for the company websites with an emphasis on enhancing the customer experience.
• Creating graphic designs for custom accessory items.
• Creating and modification of product images for inclusion in web sites.
• Producing HTML email templates
• Fixing layout bugs
• Will work with back end developers on integration of the layout with back end coding
• Other web development duties as required.
