School Year Program: 330pm-730pm, Mon-Fri;8am-12nn,Sat

Qualifications:

• Must speak basic to intermediate Mandarin
• Must read and write Pinyin
• Above average Mandarin/English written and oral communication skills
• Familiar with the curriculum of Chinese schools
• Must have studied in a Chinese Grade/High School
• Enjoys teaching children and is compassionate towards them
• Advantageous if candidate has teaching experience in a classroom or tutorial setting
• Works with minimum supervision


Responsibilities:

• Teach Pinyin/Mandarin to Grade School / High School students
• Help empower students to critically engage concepts learned at school
• Create customized study programs / modules/study materials per student
• Closely evaluate and monitor student performance
• Keep parents updated of their child’s performance

This position reports directly to the Lead Academic Assistant
