SENIOR .NET DEVELOPER
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Design, architect, test and maintain applications to support the companies applications.
-Create high quality web applications, web-based tools as well as windows applications and services.
-Utilizing a thorough knowledge of programming skills and techniques, this person shall develop applications written in languages such as VB.Net, ASP.Net, ASP (Active Server Pages), Visual Basic, ActiveX, HTML/DHTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML and Web Services designed to enhance user appeal and utility, as well as the Web site's overall functionality.
-Provides customer support for the companies applications.
-Makes every effort to complete assigned projects on time as assigned by Project Manager.
-Prioritizes workload based on business objectives and direction from Project Manager.
-Tests all code before releasing to the QA environment to ensure the project meets all specified criteria in the specification and functions without error
-Brings conflicting issues concerns to the Project Manager immediately when discovered.
REQUIREMENTS
-Candidates must have a BS Degree in Computer Science or related field and/or equivalent technical experience within web development.
-Should possess good technical programming skills and techniques.
-Has a thorough understanding of the internet and database architecture, stored procedures, triggers and optimized SQL statements.
-Highly experienced with the following technologies:
o Microsoft ASP (Classic) and ASP.Net
o Microsoft Visual Studio.Net
o Visual Basic (Classic), VB.NET, C# and Web Services
o Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2005
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to express thoughts and ideas clearly.
-Can organize multiple tasks and possesses strong organizational skills.
-Ability to perform most duties without a lot of supervision.
-Strong team effort mentality.
