Shipboard Training Officer

Negros Navigation Oceanlink Institute, Inc., a wholly owned training subsidiary of Negros Holdings & Management Corporation, has been created to produce, through training, the best sea-based and land-based professionals in industries of maritime, hospitality, and culinary arts for domestic and international employment.
The company aims to provide quality training and education to current and upcoming seafarers to prepare them for their work when they board their ships.
NNOI offers programs required for domestic and international employment onboard vessels which are accredited by the Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA), Maritime Training Council (MTC).
Oceanlink Institute is in need of competent candidates for the position of:

SHIPBOARD TRAINING OFFICER

General Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement training programs to client schools.

Specific Tasks:
1. Coordinates with Logistics Coordinator and key resource persons regarding trainee group details and onboard venue operation.
2. Assists training group in embarkation, orientation, familiarization, deployment and other logistical requirements of trainee group.
3. Implements of training module as per assigned and scheduled.
4. Conducts training/performance evaluation.
5. Reports performance of trainee group.
6. Assists in the development and updating of training modules.
7. Performs training-related functions as per directed by In-House/HRS Manager.

Minimum Requirements:
1. 23 years old and above
2. 4-year graduate of HRM-related courses: BS Hotel and Restaurant Manager, BS Cruise Ship Management and BS Tourism
3. 1-2 years teaching experience on HRM-related subjects
4. Knowledge and skills on Housekeeping, Front Office and Food and Beverage Operations
5. Managerial/Supervisory Level
6. 1-2 years work experience on Housekeeping, Front Office and Food and Beverage Management
7. With high leadership skill
8. Good team player
9. Willing to conduct off-site training to different locations in the Philippines
10. Full-time and part-time positions available
