JOB SUMMARY:
Thorough knowledge and experience with modern web development, including strong skills in areas of programming, database integration, technical configuration, and web user interface development.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:..
1. Integrates programming and database for web applications, online forms, online reports and other store and retrieve applications using ASP and SQL databases.
2. Provides programming and web development support in an IIS and .NET environment.
3. Provides web development and project support to ensure web application and code is developed in accordance with defined and enforced policies, regulations, work processes and guidelines.
4. Performs other duties as assigned or requested.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERTISE:
1. Bachelor's degree.
2. Two years of professional experience in web development.
3. Knowledge and experience in documentation for software code and work processes.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
• Skills in areas of programming, database integration, technical configuration, and web user interface development.
• Candidate must be able to work in a team environment to develop fast, scalable and robust web applications using Microsoft .NET and scripting (JavaScript/VB Script) technologies.
• Strong knowledge of programming in Visual Basic 6, .NET languages such as VB.NET, C#, and others.
• Additional skills: Java Script experience, converting MS Access to SQL Server 2000 databases.
