Responsibilities:
Major Duties
1.Perform any combination of calculating, posting of depreciation and other accounting entries and verifying duties to obtain financial data for use in maintaining accounting records such as sales book, aging and accounting/commission receivable, lapsing schedule and trade contract monitoring.
2.Compile and sort documents such as invoices and checks, substantiating business transactions.
3.Verify and post details of business transactions, such as funds and remittances received and disbursed and total accounts. Prepared check and disbursement vouchers, invoices and statement of accounts.
4.Ensure timely accurate remittances of government, insurance and medical contributions of company employees such as but not limited to SSS, withholding taxes, philhealth and Pagibig
5.Prepare regular report for submission to management:
a.Trade contract monitoring
b.Commissions receivable aging and monitoring
c.Collection - sending of statement of accounts (SOA)
d.Export advance Line (EXAL) availment monitoring
6.Prepare and review, to ensure compliance with company policies, vouchers, invoices, checks, account statement, reports and other records
Minor Duties
1.Proactively participate in company activities
2.contribute to initiatives consistent with company interests as may be determined by management
3.Maintain an organized file of all documents prepared.
Requirements: Graduate of BS in commerce/Accounting; 1-2 years experience in general accounting ( bookeeping & accounts analyses) and preparation of regulatory reports; Highly analytical and with a keen attention to details; Computer literate ; Ability to work in a flexible and challenging environment |
