CORPORATE PROFILE

Philippine Foremost Milling Corporation is the first flour mill established in Western Visayas. Due to the increasing demand for the flour; Mr. Alfonso Uy, President of La Filipina Uygongco Corporation together with other enthusiastic stockholders began the construction of a flour mill in a 3-hectare land at Lapuz, Iloilo City.

Philippine Foremost Milling Corporation was formally launched on January 9, 1989 under the Security and Exchange Commission's Registration Number 1000298 which later began its full operation by the year 1990.

The company is proud to produce the much needed quality flour demanded by the bakers and noodle makers alike. As the only flour mill in Western Visayas, Philippine Foremost Milling Corporation dominates the market with its quality service and efficient distribution network.

July, 2000 marks the inauguration of the second plant located in the heart of Manila, at the Manila Harbor Center, Tondo, Manila, to fortify its production and distribution in Luzon area. The new plant contains grains handling, storage and processing facilities.

Having established a strong presence among the consumers, PFMC's flour production had increased. In the process, pollard, a by-product of the flour manufacturing activity, had increased as well. PFMC now saw its warehouse piling up with this feed ingredient. It saw another business potential – a feed mill plant. (Iloilo and Manila plant)

Since the start of the business, PFMC has maintained and provided high quality products coupled with good service. As such, our products are now well accepted throughout the country.

With two modern plants, one serving the Visayas and Mindanao areas and the other serving the Luzon area, Philippine Foremost Milling Corporation with its full technical support provides the nation with the finest quality flour products at most reasonable price.
