  • Description

  • -Purchase goods, materials and services to ensure that the company operational needs are met, taking into account price, quality and delivery and to ensure continuity of supply.

    -Support the purchasing function and other relevant departments and communicate any supply problems may impact on business operations.

    -Monitor market trends and market suppliers.

    -Provide analysis on costs, new existing and review cost reduction activities.

    -Prepare and update reports (Material Cost, Yearly AOP and Monthly purchasing report).

    -Work closely with others in the procurement function and review opportunities for continuous improvements.

    -Performs other tasks to be assigned by superior.

    Job Qualifications:

    -At least 2 years work experience as Purchasing Staff/Buyer in a semiconductor/electronics manufacturing company.

    -Knowledgeable in purchasing process, negotiation, commercial understanding and cost breakdown.

    -Able to add value, reduce costs and input to business improvements.

    -Knowledgeable in company raw materials and consumable goods, office supplies.

    -Knowledgeable in government rules & regulations and importation.

    -Knowledgeable in principles and methods of moving products.
