* Work from and follow process specifications, work orders, travelers, station paperwork, blueprints, rework/rejection tags, schedules, and verbal/written instruction.
* Read, analyse, and interpret blueprints, sketches, or product specifications to determine sequence of cutting operation on various metal products.
* Perform a first part inspection verifying conformance to specification.
* Observe machine operation to detect malfunction or excessive tool wear.
* Inspect and replace worn tools as necessary.
* Examine first cut and determines its acceptability.
* Requires the use of and ownership of basic tools and various hand tools as specified by departmental tool list.
* Perform housekeeping chores in the designated work area.
* Perform other duties as may assigned or required.
Job Qualifications:
* A graduate of Vocational/Technical course with NCII Machining
* With at least 1 year experience in operating Manual/Conventional Lathe Machine
