  • • Develop, implement and communicate effective and compliant HR policies
    • Support and strengthen the management team on personnel issues and HR policy and procedures.
    • Maintain an excellent level of knowledge regarding HR practices, including a thorough working knowledge of changes to legislation and the implications for the business.
    • Assist in performance management processes.
    • Maintain employee records (attendance, EEO data etc.) according to policy and legal requirements.
    • Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance.
    • Be actively involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads and managing the hiring process.
    • Provide advice on awards and/or employment contracts and conditions of employment.
    • Work with other managers to attract, retain, develop and manage highly engaged and committed personnel.
    • Ensure a safe working environment, supported by relevant policies, procedures and resources.

    • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources (or related field) and/or a minimum of five years’ experience in a similar role.
    • Knowledge and experience managing a broad range of HR issues.
    • Proven experience in developing a sustainable workplace culture.
    • An ability to analyze situations and make effective recommendations in accordance with the corporate culture and values.
    • Exceptional communication skills.
    • Strong Microsoft Office competency.
