    Plan, direct, and coordinate the activities of buyers, purchasing officers, and related staff involved in purchasing materials, products, and services;

    Plan and organize the transfer of goods and materials;

    Analyze and supervise the storage, use, and transport of materials and inventory;

    Lead the negotiation of prices and delivery of materials to produce cost savings and reduce lead times;

    Assess the entire flow of goods and materials to ensure efficient delivery, quality goods, and on-time delivery of goods and services.


    Directly reports President/CEO and VP/Chief Finance Officer (CFO)

    Coordinates with Department Heads/Managers, Suppliers, Brokers, Sub-contractors


    Supervises and oversees Asst. Managers, Supervisors, Purchasing Staff, and Warehouse Staff


    • Develop and implement purchasing and contract management policies and procedures.

    • Determine accreditation requirements for vendors of supplies, materials, equipment and services.

    • Analyze market and delivery systems to assess present and future material availability.

    • Participate in the development of specifications for equipment, products or substitute materials.

    • Locate vendors of materials, equipment or supplies, and interview them to determine product availability and terms of sales.

    • Ensure maintenance of complete records on possible and accredited vendors of materials used by the Company including items available, costs, price breaks and the vendor contact for appropriate information and quoting.

    • Represent companies in negotiating and managing contracts and formulating policies with suppliers.

    • Acquire competitive quotations on the most favorable credit terms from suppliers in accordance with the company’s policy and procedures

    • Ensure that suppliers comply with the parameters of the Supply and/or Service Agreement, and execute delivery in accordance with the agreement.

    • Plan timetables and ensure the timely delivery of raw materials.

    • Monitor the delivery of imported equipment from pier/airport to warehouse or project location.

    • Resolve vendor or contractor grievances, and claims against suppliers.

    • Oversee the procurement database.

    • Direct and coordinate activities of personnel engaged in buying, selling, and distributing materials, equipment, machinery, and supplies.

    • Attend company and supplier meetings.

    • Monitor stock levels and track the movement of goods accurately.

    • Oversee the arrival of shipments and make sure they are correct and in good condition.

    • Monitor performance and make sure targets are met.

    • Plan / come up with effective and efficient ways on improving supply chain networks.


    Position Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, and/or Customs Administration.

    • At least ten (10) years working experience of the same capacity or background.

    • Willing to work in Mandaluyong Head Office and in Parañaque Warehouse.

    Competency Requirements:

    • Must be knowledgeable on the principles of importation and documentation.

    • Must demonstrate exceptional skills on complex planning, problem solving, organization, decision making and judgment, critical thinking, time management, attention to detail, active listening, verbal and written communication, leadership, and, human and financial resources management.

    • Must have Project Management skills.

    • Must have the ability to motivate, train and lead a team well.

    • Must be computer literate, and knowledgeable in MS Office Applications; Must have confidence in using software packages such as ERP.

    • Must have the ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines.

    • With good geographical knowledge.

    • Has relevant background in: Customer service, Suppliers relationship management, Materials Management, Logistics, Import/Export, Warehousing, Inventory Management and Control

    Procurement and negotiation skills.
