  • Duties and Responsibilities

    • Conduct daily inspection of production area and personnel ensuring compliance to Good Manufacturing Practices

    • Report all GMP deviations and recommend disciplinary actions for noncompliance to GWP by production personnel.

    • Monitor production runs ensuring that all established quality parameters are being followed.

    Report any deviations noted and implement necessary corrective actions when needed.

    • Collect QA retain samples from all productions runs (in all sampling points: in-process and filling).

    • Will supervise and take charge in the pre-weigh room. (weighing of confidential ingredients) ensuring that prepared raw materials as requested by the production adhere to approved formulations.

    • Responsible for the safety and protection of confidential documents like formulations in the Pre-weigh room and processing area.

    • Ensure that all materials withdrawn from warehouse are in good quality and of the right quantity.

    • Conduct periodic inspection of production machinery and equipment to ensure efficient operation. Inspects nuts, screws and other metal connections that may be possible source of physical hazards on product.

    • Inspect and evaluate incoming raw and packaging materials for compliance with quality qualifications.

    • Recommend rejections/acceptance of incoming raw and packaging materials if found to be outside the acceptable quality standards.

    • Document all materials received or rejected for the evaluation of supplier accreditations/performance and maintain all files of incoming material inspection in a filing cabinet for future reference.

    • Handle customer complaints and investigates the product with quality issues. Report the findings and recommend the necessary corrective actions to avoid recurrence of the deviations noted.

    • Ensure cleanliness and safety of all the laboratory equipment used in the physico-chemical analysis like pH meter, titrator, water activity tester, texture analyzer and other laboratory glass wares.

    • Monitor inventory of the reagents and other chemicals used in the physico-chemical analysis. Take charge in requisition of these reagents in case of low inventory.

    • Perform other tasks which may be assigned on case-to-case basis.

    Qualifications

    • Graduate of Food Technology, Chemistry, Food Science, Microbiology, or any related course.

    • Having an experience working in Food Industry is an advantage.

    • Have a background in GMP and HACCP.

    • Familiar with different laboratory equipment.
