  • The Senior Technical Support Specialist responsibilities include resolving network issues, configuring operating systems, on-site and/or using remote desktop connections to provide immediate support.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITY:

    ✓ Configuration and installation of standard program of all Desktops PC/Laptops, Portable devices, scanners, plotters, apple and android devices and peripherals machine

    ✓ Research and identify solutions to software and hardware issues

    ✓ Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including account setup and network configuration

    ✓ Ask end-users targeted questions to quickly understand the root of the problem

    ✓ Track computer system issues through to resolution, within agreed time limits

    ✓ Talk to executives and end-users through a series of actions, either face to face, via phone, email or chat, until they’ve solved a technical issue

    ✓ Properly escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams (e.g. software developers)

    ✓ Provide prompt and accurate feedback to executives, end users

    ✓ Refer to internal database or external resources to provide accurate tech solutions

    ✓ Ensure all issues are properly logged

    ✓ Prioritize and manage several open issues at one time

    ✓ Follow up with executives, end users to ensure their IT systems are fully functional

    after troubleshooting

    ✓ Prepare accurate and timely reports

    ✓ Document technical knowledge in the form of notes and manuals

    ✓ Maintain jovial relationships with executives and end-users

    ✓ Submit needed document as request or stated by the management or IT Head

    ✓ Other project, task that management may requires

    ✓ Takes input from lead and appropriately and accurately applies comments/feedback.

    ✓ Acts on behalf of the IT Operations Lead, whenever delegated to do so, within the limits

    set forth in the existing practiced limits of authority.

    JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

    ✓ Bachelor’s/College degree Computer Science/Management Information Systems,

    Mathematics

    ✓ Additional certification in Microsoft, Cisco, Apple or similar technologies is a plus

    ✓ At least 3 years proven experience in PC/laptop/Mac troubleshooting or technical

    expertise or similar field

    ✓ Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

    ✓ Proven work experience as a Technical Support Engineer, Desktop Support Engineer,

    IT Help Desk Technician or similar role in a service-oriented company

    ✓ Hands on experience in using and troubleshooting IP telephony and social media

    messaging apps like Skype for Business, Microsoft Teams, WeChat, WhatsApp, Zoom

    etc

    ✓ Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues

    ✓ Experience with Windows, MacOS, IOS and Android OS and the ability to set up and

    configure this hardware.

    ✓ Familiar in supporting MS Office, Anti-Virus and other PC/Mac Applications installed in

    PCs Mac and Mobile Devices

    ✓ Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and

    coordinating work efforts with other employees and organizations.

    ✓ Flexible and willing to work with extended hours during holidays, peak period

    manufacturing and seasonal activities

    ✓ Ability to set up and configure ip phones, Printers, wi-fi and board room facilities etc.

    ✓ Familiarity with backup and recovery software and methodologies

    ✓ Great at organizing, prioritizing and multitasking

    ✓ Ability to provide step-by-step technical help, both written and verbal

    ✓ Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision.

    ✓ Interact professionally with other employees, customers and suppliers.

    ✓ Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments.

    ✓ Client service focused with emphasis in serving executives and corporate staff.

    ✓ Responsible/able to work outside standard work hours as required to support the

    organization

    ✓ Ability to travel, if required.

    ✓ Ability to be at office or locations like data center, executive locations when

    necessary to support off-hour projects/tasks.
