  • 1. JOB PURPOSE

    This job is responsible for generating sales of UGC products through selling activities, promotional visits, customer liaison and servicing of prospective and existing customers. Conduct product and company presentations to create awareness and eventually sales. Other functions include market identification and development.

    2. JOB SCOPE

    2.1 Selling Function

    § Establish and adhere to an effective selling process (e.g. prospecting, qualifying, pre-approach, approach, demonstration/presentation, handling objections and closing) to ensure quality sales and consistent performance level. Also responsible for identifying new markets, potential accounts and opportunities, keeping himself/herself informed and abreast of developments within assigned areas. Gathers data/information or listings of on-going and/or forthcoming projects from reliable institutions in assigned areas and conduct benchmarking.

    § Participating in the formulation of strategies, targets and/or budgets of his/her area, and implements approved action plans and programs to ensure quality sales and consistent performance level.

    § Conducts roofing estimates and prepares Sales Quotations, Order Placement Forms and other documentation / paper works pertaining to customer account in an orderly manner – legible, complete and in accordance with prescribed pricing level, payment terms, and delivery lead time.

    § Monitors all incoming orders, withdrawals and outstanding balances of handled customers.

    § Visits regularly or whenever necessary existing dealers/ clients and prospective customers for sales calls, collections, promotions and goodwill.

    2.2 Credit, Collection and Remittance

    § Collects and ensures payment of Sales orders within credit policies and guideline with proper coordination with Credit personnel.

    § Refers to his/her immediate supervisor any special payment arrangement offered by a prospective customer for consultation and/or approval before accepting such special payment arrangement.

    § Remit collections intact on the date it was received or on the next banking day.

    § Monitors business and/or personal activities of existing or prospective customers that may affect the credit worthiness of the same.

    2.3 After-Sales Services

    § Provides related customer services to ensure customer satisfaction including handling of customer complaints (in coordination with the appropriate Technical services personnel).

    2.4 Reports

    2.4.1 Prepares and submits the following reports:

    2.4.1.1 Weekly and Monthly Sales Reports

    2.4.1.2 Preliminary Credit Investigation Report

    2.4.1.3 Finance Weekly Collection Report

    2.4.1.4 Prospecting Report

    2.4.1.5 Expense Statements

    2.4.1.6 Benchmarking report

    2.4.1.7 Others reports as needed by the immediate superior

    2.4.2 Provides market information and analysis as needed by immediate superiors on the following:

    2.4.2.1 Customer business concerns

    2.4.2.2 Movement of Customers

    2.4.2.3 Market prices

    2.4.2.4 List of Dealers and Brands Services

    2.4.2.5 List of Special Projects

    2.4.2.6 Competitive Situation

    2.4.2.7 Environmental Scanning

    2.5 Other Responsibilities

    § Coordinates with the Sales Assistant as well as with customers regarding status of sales orders, deliveries, inventory of materials and finished goods.

    § Responsible for coordinating, Processing and documentation of sales returns and other customers’ concerns.

    § Maintains company properties and other accountabilities in good condition.

    § Performs other related duties that may be assigned or required from time to time by his/her superior.

    § Conducts plant and warehouse visits to assess quality systems and do Safety Observations.

    § Supports and demonstrates ownership of health and safety in his/her own area of responsibility.

    8.1. EDUCATION

    Graduate of a four (4) year college course preferably Engineering or Business.

    8.2. EXPERIENCE

    Work experience in sales is an advantage.

    8.3. SKILLS / COMPETENCIES

    Computer Literate, human relations, and customer service relations
