  • Job Summary

    • An Account Manager’s role is to oversee a portfolio of assigned clients, develop new business from existing clients and actively seek new sales opportunities and create long-term, trusting relationships with our clients and other business partners. Other responsibilities include developing strong relationships with clients, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders and preparing sales reports.

    • Account Managers also answer client queries and identify new business opportunities among existing customers. In this role, you will liaise with cross-functional internal teams (including Solutions Pre-Sales, Implementation and Project Management Teams as well as Finance and Business Support) to improve the entire client experience.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    New Business

    • Scouts and manages new business prospects for the company.

    • Supervises pitches and presentations.

    • Researches new business leads.

    • Manages a portfolio of accounts.

    Account Management

    • Helps in the achievement of NECPH’s sales, orders & contribution targets as well as monitoring the profitability of accounts.

    • Establishing accurate and transparent sales pipeline and forecasts.

    • Achieving KPI’s and targets in line with scorecard provided by their Immediate Head,

    • Help execute sales plans and activities in-line with the over-all Sales plans and strategy.

    • Secure major project orders and assist colleagues to close sales.

    • Provide market intelligence and gather info on assigned segment’s business trends

    • Ensures familiarity with the nature of clients' products, business culture and competition and understands the possibility of changes to these.

    • Attends client meetings.

    • Maintains and builds relationships with existing and possible clients.

    • Researches on new trends, competitions and new insights.

    • Formulates new strategies that the company can undertake as per the need of the market.

    • Other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.

    Occasional and/or Special Duties

    • Attends official business trips (domestic or international) with clients and other partners.

    • Attends NEC sponsored events and other NEC client servicing activities.

    • Attends mandatory NEC sponsored trainings, workshops, and activities.

    Job Requirements

    • Male or Female; graduate of Sales & Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Advertising or any Business Course or its equivalent.

    • Preferably with Post Graduate units earned in Sales & Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Advertising, or any related field.

    • Graduates of Information Technology, Computer Science or Management Information System with interest and/or experience doing Sales and Account Management will be given priority.

    Job Specifications

    • With at least at least five (5) work experience as Account Manager in an IR and/or ICT Company handling accounts in government agencies, banking and financial service industries in all areas of Client Servicing.

    • With established account relationship with high net worth private and institutional clients.

    • Should have a proven track record in Account Management that shows profitability.

    • Proficient in all computer software and applications particularly in Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.

    Job Competencies

     With an above average planning, budgeting and forecasting, oral and communication skills; inter-personal; analytical; problem-solving; negotiating skills.

     Highly personable with exceptional PR skills; strong presentation, negotiation and closing skills, with proven track record of account management bringing with him/her a solid client database.

     Must possess an above average general management skills, a self-starter, results-driven and can manage changes well.

     Has commitment to excellent customer service and the Company’s Code of Ethics.

     Highly motivated, attentive to details, can keep confidential matters, and has the ability to coordinate multiple projects.

     Must be highly organized, analytical and systematic individual.

     Must have a sense of urgency and initiative to perform set duties even without instructions.

     Can work under minimum supervision and able to cope up with pressures and deadlines.

     Willing to work long hours.
