  • Qualifications:

    • A graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy or any related course

    • At least 5 years of accounting experience specifically in Payroll, AP/AR, Bank Reconciliation, and

    Periodic Filling of Reports to government agencies.

    • At least 2 years of Australian Accounting experience in Payroll, Bank Reconciliation, BAS,

    Reporting, and Invoicing.

    • Proficient in Xero, Employment Hero, Salesforce, and PAYGW lodgment

    • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills

    • Exceptional attention to detail

    • Willingness to learn, show initiative and be a positive “team player” and committed

    • Time Management skills

    • Experience in taxation is an advantage

    Role Overview:

    This role will be across two businesses of the client, and include weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting

    of staff utilisation.

    The key responsibilities are:

    Accounts Management

    • Bank and sales reconciliations

    • Weekly creditors report and creation of the ABA file for direct payment

    • Invoice reconciliation (currently we use Hubdoc)

    • Monthly P&L and balance sheet reporting

    Payroll

    • Fortnightly single touch payroll via employment hero (and Xero for One Good Day)

    • Weekly ABA file upload

    • Weekly monitoring and approval of timesheets

    • Monthly PAYGW lodgements

    • ATO EOFY Payroll lodgement

    • Respond to staff questions about their payroll

    BAS Services

    • Monthly GST reconciliation and BAS lodgement

    • Quarterly Superannuation lodgements

    • ATO BAS Agent representations

    End of FY reconciliation and reporting to accountant

    Invoicing for services

    • Daily reporting of claims via Salesforce and loading them into NIDS portal

    • Following up claims that show an error report

    • Fortnightly reporting of claims via Xero and sending to separate providers for payment

    • Weekly following up of aged payables and processing remittance notes

    Others

    • Answering phone calls to relay to the right contact person.
