job Responsibilities

Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including:

month and end-year process

accounts payable/receivable

cash receipts

general ledger

payroll and utilities

treasury, budgeting

cash forecasting

revenue and expenditure variance analysis

capital assets reconciliations

trust account statement reconciliations

fixed asset activity

debt activity

Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles

Coordinate and complete annual audits

Provide recommendations

Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions

Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions

Managing, training, and helping hire, accounting staff.

Managing relationships with team members, clients, and external partners

Qualification

Degree in Accountancy/Business Commerce

Has experience as Managerial level for at least 5 years

Must be CPA qualified

Willing to be assigned with other tasks besides accounting.

Basic Skill

Strong Interpersonal skills -including written and oral communication skills.

Strong understanding of accounting, finance, taxation, IFRS, and management principles.

Strong analytical skills and ability to evaluate business processes

Ability to work as a team player in a fast-paced dynamic environment

Proficient in ERP systems and MS Office in particular Excel.

High level of efficiency and accuracy.

Attention to detail and the ability to analyze large amounts of data.

Have work experience in Japanese Manufacturing company
