    Job Summary

    Accounting Reconciliation Supervisor is directly responsible for supervising, mentoring, and leading the Accounting Reconciliation staff in ensuring reconciliations are completed based on required deadlines and reconciling items are cleared within prescribed timeline as well as other duties related to the department.

    Job Description

    · Supervises the reconciliation of operational general ledger accounts.

    · Collaborates with internal and external auditors, as required, in their research of records.

    · Work closely with operations to ensure reconciliations are clear of reconciling items and underlying balances are supported accordingly.

    · Serves as assisting point of contact to resolve accounting issues including, but not limited to, support and general ledger account mapping.

    · Assist with preparation of monthly and quarterly analytics for income statement and balance sheet account activity and resolves accounting discrepancies and irregularities as necessary.

    · Review of journal entries and support submitted by operations teams as needed.

    · Coordinates or assists with special projects as assigned.

    · All other duties as assigned.

    Job Qualification

    · Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.

    · Extensive analytical and mathematical skills. Ability to provide logical solutions to complex situations.

    · Superior ability to read, interpret, and analyze accounts and records that are complex and nonrecurring nature; to meet deadlines; to communicate effectively both in writing, orally, in person and by telephone; to work independently with minimal direction or in a team environment.

    · Ability to work with others to understand business needs in an organized manner and consistently follow up on tasks.

    · Ability to organize and prioritize duties in order to meet external filing deadlines and internal reporting deadlines with multiple concurrent tasks and projects.

    · Ability to maintain confidentiality.

    · Must be proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel experience.
