Offer description

Ensures safeguarding of Company assets particularly Cash on hand by establishing proper cash handling and ensuring proper controls are in place to avoid mishandling/misuse of funds intended for its purpose and to perform other necessary functions under Finance.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

A. Petty Cash Custodian

• Prepare a sequential petty cash voucher form for the petty cash voucher requestors

• Proactively monitor and follow up unliquidated cash advances

B. Cashier

• Ensure utmost safeguarding of cash on hand under her responsibility. Maintain a skeptic attitude towards the surroundings

• Ensure safekeeping of cash on hand, ensure its security and accessibility to unauthorized personnel; report immediately any unusual observations or threats detected.

• Check the list of Payment Vouchers(PV) from Alabang office thru HRA (Admin) transmittal for completeness and accurate monitoring;

• Coordinate with requestors for the releasing of fund – ensure that funds are released to the requestors.

• Facilitate releasing of salaries and wages to extra workers – require them to provide a valid identification card prior to the releasing of cash allotted to them;

• Ensure that cash on hand shall be intact at any given time, any disbursements shall be supported with approved and valid documents.

PROFESSIONAL & TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES

• Bachelor’s degree in any business course (preferred)

• Detailed oriented, excellent in cash control and management, organized
