  • Roles and Responsibilities

    This is for our American client in the construction industry. We are in need of Accounting support that will be handling administrative tasks by running reports, handling information requests, and performing a variety of accounting and clerical functions.

    - Assist the Administration department with running, reviewing and compiling various reports

    - Prepare documents for management approval

    - Complete cost adjustments upon request

    - Compile and prepare intercompany invoicing

    - Track incoming payments from clients and vendors

    - Support the Project Administration team with pay applications and other accounting functions

    - Vendor verifications and W9 requests

    - Perform routine audits

    - Post approvals within our accounting and project management software

    - Support the Safety Department with electronically filing reports, documents, employee certificates, as well as data entry into safety reporting software

    Required Experience

    - More than 2 years of admin accounting experience

    Minimum Qualification

    - Graduate of accounting or any relevant degree

    A Successful Candidate must have

    - Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

    - Keen attention to details

    - Strong organizational skills

    - Ability to work efficiently – allocate one’s own time efficiently; handle multiple demands and competing priorities

    - Familiarity with basic accounting principles and practices

    - Basic understanding of General Ledger accounts and proper project cost coding

    - Ability to troubleshoot potential errors in coded invoices, expense statements, and other accounting transactions

    Proficient with

    - MS Excel

    - MS Outlook

    - MS Office Word

    - Skype

    - BlueBeam/Adobe

    - Box

    - DocuSign

    - Aia Software

    Experience Advantage

    - Knowledgeable in KoFax software
