  • Job Description:

    -Ensure all banking tasks are completed in accordance with department standards, and to provide support to the Collection Services Team and Flick’s Branches.

    -Ensure that customer accounts are professionally managed, and monies allocated correctly as per customer remittances, thus reducing the number, age, and dollar value of accounts operating outside of the companies trading terms.

    -Ensure customer accounts are accurate and any customer requests are dealt with in an efficient and effective manner.

    -Assist in any queries as requested by the Finance and other departments. Provide a level of customer service congruent to the company vision of building lifelong customers.

    -Ensure the timely and efficient processing of customized and consolidated billing, including the reconciliation and administration of customer billing accounts.

    -Ensure the timely and efficient submission of invoices in customer’s account payable portals.

    -Ensure the collection of overdue invoices and any declined direct debit transactions

    -Assist in finding operational and process efficiencies within the Accounts Receivable function.

    -Assist in the continuous improvement of processes and procedures, including the performance review and development of staff.

    To be considered for an interview, you should have:

    -Proven experience in implementing operational and process efficiencies

    -Impeccable attention to detail and accuracy

    -Analytical and high transaction processing skills

    -Strong Time management and organizational skills

    -Experience working in a Decentralised business environment

    -Strong team ethic and extremely customer focussed

    -Solid skills in Microsoft Office products, in particular, Excel (intermediate level)

    -Excellent communication skills

    -Proven experience in managing a team to success
