Analyst Programmer

Offer description

As an analyst programmer, your primary responsibility is to analyze complex business requirements and develop software applications that meet those requirements.

Your tasks may include:

Gathering and analyzing business requirements to identify technical solutions.

Designing and developing software applications, using programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python.

Conducting testing and debugging of software applications to ensure they meet specifications.

Collaborating with other developers, business analysts, and project managers to ensure that software applications are developed according to project timelines and budgets.

Developing technical documentation and user manuals to assist end-users in operating and maintaining software applications.

Participating in code reviews and providing technical guidance to junior developers.

Staying up-to-date with new technologies and programming languages to improve software development processes.

Working with database administrators to design and maintain databases that support software applications.

Identifying and resolving software defects and performance issues.

Ensuring that software applications are developed in accordance with security and privacy policies.

To be successful as an analyst programmer, you should have strong analytical skills, be proficient in programming languages, and be able to communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders. You should also have a strong attention to detail, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Additionally, you should have experience with software development methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall, and be familiar with software development tools and technologies.

Requirements

• Minimum education level: Junior High School
• Knowledge: FreeBSD
