  • I.Position Objective/s:

    1.Able to manage the Company’s day-to-day operations and work collaboratively with a high performance management team.

    2.Support the General Manager and be fully responsible for training and develop the Company’s goal and objective.

    3.Able to be guest orientated and understand the importance of building relations, both internal and external.

    II.Key Job Responsibilities:

    A.Organizational Management:

    Ensure that common objectives of the Company are executed seamlessly and professionally;

    Demonstrate a high standard of hotel operations and personal presentation, ensuring good personal behaviors of self and team;

    Support the delivery and measurement of promotional activities, including staff incentives;

    Managing Sales and Marketing and maximize incremental sales opportunities by adding customer value at every opportunity and extending business development;

    To build and maintain an efficient team of employees, driving the team towards the objectives of the business;

    Assisting in management/ running of staff meetings, ensuring the team are fully briefed on their responsibilities and are given constant supervision and motivation on all aspects of their work;

    Ensure professional departmental induction is completed consistently and its effectiveness reviewed with General Manager;

    Support the delivery of all key training with the General Manager, identifying training needs and capability gaps within the team;

    Ensure a safe workplace by identifying and reporting hazards and taking corrective action;

    Identify maintenance activity required in order to uphold the required standard and forward these to the General Manager.

    B.Planning Administration:

    Provide leadership vision to the organization by assisting General Manager and Staff with the development of long range and annual plans, and the evaluation and reporting of progress on plans;

    Oversee and monitor collaboratively with General Manager and the Management Team on all special projects for any development, expansion of building, upgrading of villas, thus, ensuring in meeting the target date of completion;

    Ensure the continued financial viability of the Company’s operational units through sound fiscal budget management.

    C.External Relationship Development:

    Build company image by collaborating with customers, government, community organizations and employees enforcing ethical business practices;

    Develop a culture of actively seeking feedback from customers on a regular basis, to strengthen bond and cooperative ties and to carry on long term customer relationship;

    Ensure customer requests and feedback, both verbal and written are responded to promptly and efficiently;

    Maintain and further enhance relationships within the immediate locality;

    D.Financial Management:

    Support the implementation of revenue generation initiatives; review and communicate financial information to assist General Manager in proactive and timely decision making;

    Enhance cost saving among Department Heads without compromising standards and customer experience;

    Participate in Operating and capital Expenditure budgeting by forecasting potential revenues and costs for revenue/ cost centers, with particular reference to labor forecasting.

    E.Strategic Plan implementation:

    Provide programmatic leadership and input for all strategic plan implementation processes with the Company;

    Coach program to senior managers in implementing the strategic plan;

    Develop strategic plan by studying technological and financial opportunities, presenting assumptions, recommending objectives to the Management and General Manager.

    III.Supplementary Information (Requirements)

    A.Education:

    Preferably minimum Bachelor’s Degree from a reputable university supplemental with six (6) years hospitality management related experience in addition to education to meet the required knowledge, skills and abilities and with a track record in senior program management.

    B.Qualifications and Specific Skills:

    Able to read, analyze and interpret common technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents;

    Strong written and verbal communication skills; a persuasive and passionate communicator with excellent public speaking skills, preferably in English

    Able to point to specific examples of having led organizational transformation projects and program development;

    Persist unwavering commitment to quality programs and data-driven program evaluation;

    Dedicated to be action-oriented, entrepreneurial, and flexible to develop innovative approach to operational management.
