Offer description

1. Checks and reviews the products, equipment, materials in and out of the country by strict compliance with the organizational policy, procedure with relevant local and international law process to ensure that all documents for incoming and outgoing shipment is properly filled up and process.
2. Communicates with customers, suppliers and other related authorities to ensure efficient, positive and lawful support for the shipment and report to the Procurement Superintendent for update.
3. Communicates/deals with Bureau of Customs and Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) to discuss and justify the usage and reason of importation and secures importation approval.
4. Checks and reviews shipping documents such as Bill of Lading, Airway Bills, Commercial Invoices and Packing Lists including Load Port Survey Report (LPSR) if required as well as equipment and materials specification prior to the application of request for importation approval prepared by the foreign suppliers to ensure details of items/descriptions are correct and avoid delays during clearing of cargos with BOC and PEZA.
5. Secures the approval of List of Importable (LOI) and Import Permit (IP) through Value Added Service Provider (VASP) System for clearance purposes of all imported articles.
6. Ensures compliance for PEZA Import Permits (IP) and Automated Export Declaration (AEDS).
7. Monitors the movements of incoming and outgoing shipments by tracking freight shipments in a timely and cost-effective manner to avoid any delays and to disseminate proper information to end user.
8. Prepares shipment status report to inform the Procurement Superintendent for reporting to Top Management and Project Team about the status of the requested materials and equipment.
9. Coordinates with company’s forwarder and custom broker in clearing and delivery of goods.
10. Ensures smooth transaction and coordination with PEZA, BOC, Freight Forwarded, broker and suppliers for delivery of goods.
11. Secures Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) forms such as 8105/8106 forms and other documentation to facilitate the entry and exit of the vessel to company premise during dry docking and sailing period with corresponding local fees.
12. Checks and reviews various documents for processing in Bureau of Customs (BOC} & PEZA Office such as 8106/8105/8110 and boat note.
13. Prepares request letter and other documents with PEZA to secure Letter of Authority (LOA) to bring in and out materials required by Company and other spares from vessel for repair.
14. Prepares liquidation as per LOA requirements and PEZA regulations.
15. Coordinates with PEZA and BOC for the disposal of any scrap materials of KPMI for the inspection and payment of customs duties and taxes.
16. Ensures to execute all the payments to PEZA & Customs for services rendered to make sure issuance of all permits required.
