  • Roles and Responsibilities

    The main responsibilities of the Assistant Production Scheduler are to plan, organise, coordinate, and manage production according to demand and quality standards and to ensure the smooth and cost-efficient flow of the production operations.

    The Assistant Production Scheduler's tasks are to answer all emails in the scheduler email inbox, communicate with the schedulers and production team leaders to ensure the product will deliver on time, ensure all requests are up to date and inputted correctly, order quantitative transfers from sister company upon job approval to meet the standard of company operations, and follow up missing approval and stock with customers.

    The Assistant production is expected to prepare a backup for scheduler, schedule production orders through the manufacturing process to meet specified delivery dates while adhering to company policies of five working days lead time, suggest and discuss with Senior Production Planner regarding the working hours delegated to operators based on present workload via company’s scheduling application, schedule jobs to specified machines for economical values through computations, check stock against required job lines to avoid confusion and potential problems before scheduling, schedule jobs accordingly based on manpower’s skills and capabilities for effective production, and perform other duties as required from time to time.

    Required Experience

    - Production, Planning, & Scheduling role experience

    Minimum Qualifications

    - College degree of any 4-year course

    A Successful Candidate must have

    - Excellent oral and written communication skills

    - Excellent customer service skills

    - Excellent planning and organisational skills

    - Methodical thinking skills

    - Analytical thinking skills

    - Ability to respond to customers within a timely manner with clear and accurate information

    - Knowledge of manufacturing scheduling process

    Proficient with

    - MS Office

    Experience Advantage
