The position is primarily responsible in understanding the service delivery model and the suite of services provided by their assigned service delivery team and comprehend how workflow is managed within the AC Manila’s workflow management tool during their participation in all phases of a financial statement and audit of internal controls.

Requirements:

The candidate must be a graduate of any accounting-related course, preferably BS Accountancy

At least 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in assurance (internal/ external, business process and/or IT internal controls audit), tax, accounting, and/or analysis work

Possesses working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Google suite and Adobe Acrobat

Exposure in working in different industries across global markets, and collaborating with virtual teams.

Ability to work in a fast paced and diverse working environment

Willing to work at Ortigas in a hybrid setup

Professional certification such as CPA/CISA or equivalent will be advantageous

Responsibilities:

The role is open to candidates interested to be assigned in any of the services offered by the firm-Core Assurance or Risk Assurance. Members of these teams are expected to:

Consistently validate teamwork dynamics by working as a team member: understand personal and team roles; contribute to a positive working environment by building solid relationships with team members; and proactively seek guidance, clarification and feedback;

Innovate through new and existing technologies, along with experimenting with digitization solutions; and working with large, complex data sets to build models and leverage data

Participate in a wide range of projects; consistently demonstrating creative thinking and individual initiative.

Demonstrate flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks while exercising professional skepticism;

Analysts are expected to participate in all phases of a financial statement audit and audit of internal controls, and identify and address client needs;

Senior analysts are to demonstrate awareness of the team’s workload, efficient delegation of the assigned tasks to each team member and conduct review on their work output before client submission, and establish ability to lead or coordinate and display ownership of projects/ initiatives.

PwC Acceleration Center Manila (hereinafter, the “Company” or the “Center” or “PwC AC Manila” or “AC Manila”) is a joint venture of PricewaterhouseCoopers (“PwC”) Firms from across the Asia Pacific. It was established to provide professional services to support PwC member Firms in the Asia Pacific, Americas, and European regions only, excluding clients registered and based in the Philippines.
