Primary Function:

Responsible for keeping and processing all documents regarding the federation’s operations and statutory responsibilities. keeps the federation’s books of accounts current and accurate.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Acts as a bookkeeper for the federation and other cooperatives, as may be assigned.

2. Checks accurateness of daily transactions posted.

3. Prepares and maintains an updated book of accounts, Subsidiary and General Ledger accounts.

4. Prepares trial balance and reconciling entries.

5. Maintains historical records by filing documents.

6. Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends

Qualifications:

1. Must be a college graduate with a degree in Accountancy/Accounting-related courses.

2. Experience in bookkeeping is an advantage.

3. Must have good analytical skills and oral & communication skills.

4. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

5. Willing to travel for work-related transactions.
