Roles and Responsibilities

- Daily management of correspondence with the Brisbane office

- Daily management of workflow

- On time completion of all bookkeeping tasks as provided by the bookkeeping team

- Understanding and knowledge in Australian GST and tax laws

- Preparation of BAS and IAS

- Reconciliation of ATO Integrated Client Account

- Advanced understanding of Reports

- Profit & Loss

- Balance Sheet

- Payroll reporting

- Activity statement

- Accounts payable and accounts receivable input and reconciliations

- Understanding of Chart of Accounts

- Coding of entries

- Applying correct GST coding

- Advanced understanding of Superannuation Obligations

- Understanding and preparation of Automatic superannuation in Xero

- Single Touch Payroll (STP) EOY finalizations and reconciliations

- Understanding of Australian Workcover set up and lodgments

- Advance knowledge of new Asset purchases for Machinery, Motor Vehicles, and Equipment

- Entering of journal

- Understanding of loan documents

- Knowledge of Asset Register in Xero

A Successful Candidate Must Have

- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)

- Excellent English verbal and written communication

- Advanced current working knowledge of Xero and MYOB software

- Knowledge of Xero Practice Manager, FYI Docs
