  • Responsibilities:
    Payroll entry and processing
    Process supplemental payroll records for both district and non district staff
    Process payroll / remit related payroll taxes
    Daily/weekly data entry of expense and income transactions
    Weekly accounts payable/bill pay processing
    Monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
    Count and reconcile daily cash deposits, safe and petty cash funds.
    Preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements.
    Summarize and balance entries recorded in individual journals and ledgers, and transfer data to general ledgers.
    Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
    Reconciliation of the daily cash variance report and track discrepancies thru over and short summary reports.
    Reconciliation of all deposits, cash reports, variance reports and posting the daily sales for each day according to the company policies.
    Monthly financial report compilation, occasionally with some data manipulation in Excel
    Create and document processes for each client served; suggest improvements for efficiency and accuracy
    Assist with human resources duties
    Miscellaneous, including filing, ordering office supplies, assist with OSHA paperwork, etc.
    Perform other duties as assigned.

    Requirements:
    Bachelor's degree or higher
    Must have a strong understanding of debits/credits and inventory
    Must have strong accounting knowledge in product returns, refunds and discounts
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
    Self-starter able to prioritize numerous tasks and adapt to unexpected situations simultaneously
    Excellent communication and writing skills
    Excellent knowledge of: Google Docs, Google Sheet, Excel and Word
    Timely and professional interoffice communication with management and staff members
    Deep commitment to client confidentiality (NDA required)
