    Bookkeeper – Pampanga Based

    Role Purpose:
    The bookkeeper position creates financial transactions and creates financial reports from that information. The creation of financial transactions includes posting information to accounting journals or accounting software from such source documents as invoices to customers, cash receipts, and supplier invoices. The bookkeeper also reconciles accounts to ensure their accuracy. 

    Description:
    • Xero (and MYOB) Software management
    • Bank reconciliation
    • Answering calls and inquiries
    • Process receipts submitted by clients via Receipt Bank
    • Email payment receipts to clients' customers
    • Preparation of business activity statements and associated accounts
    • Ensure staff entitlements are setup and accrue correctly
    • Notify the client for over or underpayment of staff, double pay expenses and if the customer pays twice
    • Send out engagements when needed
    • Add clients to tax portal
    Issue financial statements  
    Calculate and issue financial analysis of the financial statements  
    Maintain an orderly accounting filing system  
    Calculate variances from the budget and report significant issues to management  

    Requirements:
    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting / Accountancy or Equivalent
    • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
    • Proven bookkeeping experience
    • Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software
    • Proficient in Xero & Receipt Bank
    • Understanding of Australian Payroll
    • Knowledge and experience in preparation of Bank Reconciliations
    • Excellent English communication skill (verbal and written)
    • Must have strong work ethics and pleasing personality
    • Previous experience in working for an Australian Accounting firm will be highly regarded
    • QBO (QuickBooks Online) knowledge is a bonus
