  • Job Summary

    Review, analyzes, and evaluates IT business systems and business requirements. Writes detailed description of requirements, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs. Tests and coordinates testing of changed computer programs. Coordinates implementation of new functionality. Provides secondary support for business software. Familiar with relational database concepts, and client-service concepts. Support IT system projects. Provides second level support to users thru IT ticketing system.

    -Provides support to the project manager for major IT system projects.

    -Designs new system functionality through collaboration with the programming and development team.

    -Assists business partners in implementing new functionality.

    -Consults with users and gathers, analyzes, and prioritizes their problems and requirements.

    -Consults with managerial and systems analysis personnel to clarify program intent, identify problems, suggest changes, and determine extent of programming and coding required.

    -Analyze requests and develop system requirements from workflow charts or diagrams to support business processes.

    -Manages system requirements including prioritization and coordination with representatives from other business units.

    -Tests computer software, tracks bugs and coordinates end user testing.

    -Compiles documentation of program development and subsequent revisions.

    -Coordinates version control and Release Notice communication with users.

    -Provides second level support to users thru IT ticketing system.

    -Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    -Graduate of any Business Course or Information Technology Course.

    -Exposure to business process projects and web design software development lifecycle projects in a multi-national manufacturing company.

    -At least 3 year(s) of related working experience as Business Analyst

    -Strong understanding about business processes and controls in a manufacturing and trading environment.

    -Project Management skills.

    -People skills.

    -Excellent communication skills.

    -Knowledge in SQL is an advantage.
