    Primary Responsibility Shall ensure the timely availability of hygiene & emergency kit supplies for government requirement (bidding requirements) , raw and packaging materials and other opex supplies in optimum quantities through sourcing and negotiation according to approved COGs and budgets.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Research potential vendors

    • Identifies and maintains accredited vendors for Government requirements, raw and packaging materials and other opex supplies.

    • Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers

    • Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing

    • Track orders and ensure timely delivery

    • Review quality of purchased products.

    • Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage

    • Coordinates with Inventory and Production Planner (IPP), vendors and TPMs for timely delivery of needed materials to complete production batches according to agreed lead times, approved stocking levels, and other inventory policies.

    • Identifies and recommends alternate materials, services, and/or vendors to meet current and new production and marketing demands.

    • Enter order details (e.g. vendors, quantities, prices) into internal databases

    • Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices

    • Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses

    • Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed

    • Conduct vendor audit at least once a month.

    equirements

    • Proven work experience as Purchaser in FMCG industry.

    • Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating and liaising with vendors)

    • Ability to negotiate, establish, and administer contracts

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    • Understanding of supply chain procedures

    • Solid analytical skills, with the ability to create cost analyses

    • BSc in Logistics, Business Administration or relevant field

    • Goal-oriented, organized team player
