  • We are looking for an energetic BDM to help us expand our clientele. As a Business Development Manager (BDM), you will be the front of the company, the first point of contact with potential clients providing information on our products and services. You are focused on improving and growing the business by fostering and developing relationships with clients and other industry partners. You may work to improve profitability through careful strategic planning and positioning in the appropriate markets or to enhance the operation of the business, position or reputation in some way.

    The Business Development Manager will be responsible for telephone and email prospecting; qualifying and processing marketing leads for the sales team. This individual will be an enthusiastic team player with exception phone communication skills able to understand different buying personas, position and communicate the value of iVirtually, and persuade new business prospects to learn more. To excel in this role, you are driven to chase and close new business from cold calls and inbound warm leads

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    1. Reach out to prospects via telephone and email to qualify leads using a specified scoring system.

    2. To achieve agreed sales targets in line with the business objectives through proactive sales and marketing.

    3. Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings.

    3. Navigate through a conversation flow to uncover business needs, understand pains, and position iVirtually as a compelling solution.

    4. Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones.

    5. Finding and developing new markets and improving sales.

    6. Develop quotes and proposals for clients

    7. May assist in client visits for new and existing clients.

    8. Negotiate pricing with customers, and suppliers in some cases carry out sales forecasts and analysis

    and present your findings to senior management.

    2. A professional manner and presentable appearance for meeting customers/clients

    3. Active listener, with compelling sales personality.

    4. Exceptional communication skills– both written and verbal– and the ability to build a genuine rapport with prospects over the phone promptly

    5. Ability to learn quickly and manage multiple priorities and/or project

    6. Driven and resourceful in finding new approaches to ensure his/her message is resonating with potential customers.

    7. Ability to problem-solve and identify process efficiencies and improvements.

    8. Familiarity or ability to quickly learn marketing systems and tools

    9. Experience in startup environment, preferred but not required.

    10. Initiative and good decision-making skills

    11. Ability to motivate yourself and set your own goals

    12. Great organizational skills

    13. Good networking skills
