  • GENERAL FUNCTIONS

    *The Business Development Manager for Self- Adjudication System for Self Insurance (SASSI) Business Development is in charge of managing the business to business and/ or business to customer accounts. He/ She is responsible for the development of sales, revenue, strategies, policies, plans and partnerships that drive commercial sales and revenue from SASSI for the company.

    II. PRODUCT/SERVICES TO MARKET

    *Sales: SASSI business to business and/ or business to customer

    III. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    *Directly manages the Self- Adjudication System for Self Insurance (SASSI) business to business and/ or business to customer account of SASSI Business Development

    *Manages the deployment and maximization of the Implementation Specialist as part of the SASSI business process for business to business and/ or business to customer accounts

    *All of the above is done consistent with the planning and execution of the department’s sales strategies and initiatives with the end goal of achieving the set goals and objectives of the entire department based on given targets and projections.

    * Identifies market opportunities and potential distribution channels that will lead to the achievement of set targets and objectives of the department.

    * Ensures the timely implementation of SASSI per service agreement manages project integration and fulfillment

    * Establishes productive and professional relationships with key personnel in partner accounts

    * Proactively assesses, clarifies and validates partner needs on an on- going basis

    * Proactively leads a joint partner planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with a productive partner relationship

    * Ensures partner compliance on agreements

    * Manages potential channel conflict with other sales channels by fostering excellent communication internally and externally and through strict adherence to channel rules of engagement

    * Leads solution development efforts that best address end- user needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company and partner personnel

    IV. QUALIFICATIONS

    * Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or any related field. Master’s degree is an advantage.

    * Minimum seven years of channel sales experience in a B2B/ B2C sales environment with at least five years- worth of experience in a managerial capacity preferably in the insurance industry
