Salary: 30,000-40,000

The main purpose of the Cloud Engineer is to have an impact on delivering intelligent pump solutions, bring our cloud capabilities to new levels and improve customer experiences around the world, saving millions of liters of water.

Reporting directly to the IT Director, the selected candidate will be responsible in supporting and enabling the company wide digital transformation and DevOps culture and is not limited to the following:

• You will be part of a new international great work ethic team to focus on continuous delivery, API management and container orchestration as part of our Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE) initiatives

• To support local DevOps activities in Product teams providing companywide innovative governance, guidance and platforms for cloud adoption to support solutions for millions of pumps and customers around the world

• Deliver high-performance customer-facing software solutions, and we collaborate closely to ensure the highest quality and reliability possible

• Participate in all aspects of cloud platforms solutions, including planning, requirements, development, testing, and quality assurance

• Troubleshoot incidents, identify root cause, fix and document problems, and implement preventive measures

• Educate teams on the implementation of new cloud-based initiatives, providing associated training as required

• Employ great problem-solving skills, with the ability to see and solve issues before they affect business productivity

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or equivalent

• With at least 3 years of experience deploying, monitoring and operation of cloud solutions Proficiency preferably Azure or other public cloud platforms (AWS or GCP)

• Have knowledge in one of following areas: continuous delivery (e.g. Azure pipelines or Jenkins) , containerization technologies preferably RedHat OpenShift (Containers, Docker, Kubernetes, etc) or API Management

• Mindset for combining development methodologies with infrastructure operation using Infrastructure-as-code principles.

• Good communication skills; both written and verbal

• Enthusiastic, forward thinking and collaborative



Additional Competencies:

• Infrastructure Configuration Management skills with Azure DevOps, Ansible, Terraform, etc.

• Experience deploying infrastructure with any container orchestration platforms such as: Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, etc.

• Knowledge of scripting or programming languages (PowerShell, Bash, Perl, Python, .NET, Java, etc.)

• Understanding of application, server, and network security

• Familiar with the overall DevOps philosophy and agile frameworks (Scrum).

• Possess version control system skills with GIT
