Commissary Operations Manager

Nuthera is looking for a Commissary Operations Manager to help us grow our organization. You will be in-charge of managing the overall commissary operations and ensuring efficiency, quality, and profitability. As the leader of our Operations Team, you will be in-charge of communicating and developing initiatives to help achieve Nuthera’s goals and ensuring productivity and team motivation with a customer-focused culture.

* You have a modern view of nutrition and health including knowledge of different types of diets (ex. Therapeutic, Paleo, Keto) and functional foods

* You have a customer-focused mindset

* You are organized and detail-oriented with good analytical and problem-solving skills

* You are skilled in creating and implementing systems and processes

You are responsible for:

* Leading, managing, and motivating the Operations Team

* Developing and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures

* Managing the department’s budget and expenses

* Developing and handling projects to meet the company’s goals

* In-charge of overseeing R&D, menu planning, and recipe development

* Managing day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency and quality

* Accurate forecasting, inventory management, and cost control to ensure profitability

Requirements:

* Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a supervisory position in food service, catering, or related field

* Preferably with a degree or Certificate in Culinary Arts, Food & Beverage Services Management or equivalent and/or Licensed and Registered Nutritionist-Dietitian

* Knowledgeable in menu planning, recipe development, nutrition, costing, forecasting, ordering, inventory, and kitchen management

* Knowledgeable of food safety and sanitation principles

* Highly proficient in computer skills, data analytics, Microsoft Excel, inventory and recipe software

Schedule

* Willing to work in Mandaluyong

* Sundays to Thursdays - Compressed work week schedule (7:00 am to 5:36 PM)

* Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays and weekends
