Content Editor - US Shift

Offer description

1. Work Volume Fulfillment
a. Fulfill daily expected output as set by the Production Officer
b. Monitor revisions sent to the writers; manage CFS and Project Manager expectations if
there are delays in completion
2. Content Strategy, Creation & Editing
a. To learn inbound marketing and digital marketing techniques and how they apply to
copywriting; to apply these techniques to content ideation and strategy for blog campaigns and
on-page content
b. Edit/proofread content to ensure there are no grammar/spelling error; ensure content
is compliant with client instructions, content guidelines/client brief; add linking scheme and
citations
c. Communicate with Home-based writers on articles needing revisions or complete
rewrite
3. Quality Compliance
a. Enforce specific instructions established by the client and the company to the writers.
b. Revise content sent back by the client according to specs provided
c. Cascade client's specific instructions to writers for future reference
4. Performance Management
a. Provide monthly audit and feedback to writers; promote level per quality compliance
b. To track writer progress, especially those in PIP/undersoing disciplinary action;
provide timely feedback to ensure quality copy
c. Evaluate the writer team and endorse for promotion of skill level
5. Staff Development
a. Participate in training sessions provided by the department or company to upskill the
department
b. Have writers apply what they learn in training to their daily work
c. To maintain team morale and create a positive work atmosphere

Requirements

• Minimum education level: Bachelor´s Degree
• 1 year of experience
• Language(s): English
• Availability to travel: Yes
• Availability of change of residence: Yes
