    Position Description

    Position Title: Content Manager

    Classification: Associate

    Salary Grade: 28,000 - 40,000

    Reports To: Account Manager

    Primary Relationships: Account Manager, Client

    Date: April - May 2020

    Position Details:

    Main Role(s):

    Wordpress knowledge required

    Excellent written and verbal English skills (will take 5-10 calls per day)

    Experience managing social media is a plus

    Scope and Purpose:

    A Content Manager has many duties and responsibilities. Under the direction of the Account Manager or the Client, the Content Manager is responsible for the writing and creation of product descriptions, social media content, and content copy for specific projects such as websites, print, or other digital media.

    The Content Manager is responsible for helping to drive the value of the website through the online content. He/she must have a high level of creativity and the ability to use data-driven insights to write excellent website content. The Content Manager must have very good knowledge of keyword research, copywriting, and the behavior of consumers. You shall also assist in the accomplishment of project goals and contribute to the successful performance of the assigned project.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities May Include:

    Utilizes the different types of writing to capture website visitors (definitions, expository, persuasive, narrative, descriptive)

    Utilizes correct English grammar, spelling, and punctuation for excellent online readability

    Produces various content types such as email, social media posts, blogs, and print

    Identifies powerful keywords to drive the most valuable traffic to the client website

    Writes clear marketing copy to promote client products/services

    Proofreads final drafts of web pages

    Skills & Qualifications:

    BA or BS degree from an accredited college or university in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or similar field

    Knowledge of digital marketing tactics, including SEO, email marketing, and web analytics

    Excellent English language skill including grammar, writing, speaking, and research skills

    Knowledge of keyword research using Google AdWord is a plus

    Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite

    Ability to work independently and meticulously

    Experience:

    A minimum of 2-3 years of experience writing English language content for business-to-business and business-to-consumer audiences

    A minimum of 1-2 years of social media, e-commerce, or copywriter experience

    Experience using WordPress, Weebly, and/or Joomla is preferred

    Experience using Google Analytics

    Working Conditions:

    Working Schedule: UK Business Hours - 4 pm to 1 am Philippine Time

    Walking, standing, reaching, pulling, speaking, hearing, etc. abilities are required to operate within the environment

    Duties are performed within an open office environment using office computer equipment

    Involves regularly sitting in front of and utilizing a computer
