  • Basic Qualifications:

    • Must be a graduate of BS Engineering or Architecture.

    • At least 10 years of relevant experience.

    • Must have the following skills: construction contract preparation, review, and administration.

    • With knowledge of Philippine local construction contracts and international construction contracts such as FDIC.

    • Preferably with background or units in Law.

    • Good oral and written communication skills.

    • Willing to work in Pasig City.

    • To start immediately.

    Contracts Administrator/Manager will be responsible for the following:

    1) Responsible for the preparation and/or verification of accuracy, applicability, and completeness of all bid and contract documents, in coordination with the respective Project Manager (PM) and/or Project Quantity Surveyor (Project QS).

    2) Review all prepared contracts-related correspondences before release, in coordination with the respective PM and/or Project QS.

    3) Coordinate with and give contractual advice to respective PM/CM or Project QS on project contractual issues and concerns.

    4) Whenever requested, necessary or applicable, attend project meeting(s) with the PM and/or Project QS to help resolve project contractual issues and concerns.

    5) Prepare, maintain, monitor implementation, and update/enhance standard project documents, which include, but not limited to the following:

    a) Invitation to Bid

    b) Instructions to Bidders

    c) Form of Bid

    d) Form of Contract Agreement

    e) Special Conditions of Contract

    f) General Conditions of Contract

    g) Bill of preliminaries

    h) Trade Preambles (in coordination with Cost Engineer)

    6) To monitor completion/execution of project contract documents; to maintain them, including contractual correspondences, for reference and safekeeping.

    7) To supervise and control to ensure that operational and quality policies are being carried out within his/her office and jurisdiction.

    8) To safeguard the confidentiality of the organization’s Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure that staff under his/her office and jurisdiction comply with its procedures and instructions.

    9) To report regularly to the Senior QS Manager (Expatriate); to coordinate regularly with the Quantity Surveying Department Head and Project/Construction Management Head.

    10) To initiate improvements of Contracts Administration-related objectives and policies and propose to formulate long-term plans and programs - for approval of the members of the Top Management - including those related to employees' training and development, new products, and innovations.
