  • Job Summary:
    Responsible for soliciting and servicing Banquet account of the company. To work in the Banquet Sales Office and functions rooms. Performs sales call. Responsible for guest’s satisfaction, liaise with Credit & Sales. Ensure function orders are completely filled out. Handle guests’ complaints properly and efficiently.

    Duties and Responsibilities:
    Contacts possible clients on trace-files and offer them banquet service as required, and introduce promotions of the company.
    Attends to inquiries and reservations received either by phone or in person, visit prospective and existing clients and sites of outside catering.
    Prepares proposal and contracts for prospective and existing clients.
    Drafts banquet event order forms for the coming functions.
    Service banquet accounts such as ensuring that all necessary arrangements required by the clients are executed.
    Maintains, updates, and improves knowledge of facilities and services in relation to clients’ needs.
    Collects from newspapers, etc, and files information regarding possible sources of business.
    Provides management with information regarding clients’ satisfaction and activities competitors.
    Prepares sales call reports at the end of the day.
    Prepares marketing report.
    Attends to walk-in clients, received Food Order through phone or email.
    Follow up all inquiries from external and internal market.
    Coordinates with respective departments for the requirements of the client for their event.
    Submits request for payment, job orders and purchases.
    Follow up account receivables from the client.
    Assist in the training of new personnel, particularly in banquet sales.
    Handles the minutes of the monthly banquet communication meeting.
    Assist in the day-to-day problems of banquet sales and operations.
    Performs other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
