Roles and Responsibilities

- Build sustainable relationships and trust with customers through open and interactive communication

- Listen actively to customer feedback, identify customer needs, and provide appropriate solutions to ensure positive resolution and experience

- Demonstrate initiative and take a proactive approach to improve levels of customer service and identify business process improvements

- Enhance product knowledge through supplier training and webinars to provide product advice and technical support to customers

- Recommend Gold Star, Catalogue, RPM, and The Quarterly products through cross and upselling

- Escalate any complex customer issues requiring additional input to customer experience Team Leader

- Manage Customer and Territory Manager account inquiries via inbound and outbound calls, emails, and live chat

- Manage daily workflow via Fresh desk (Polly) platform

- Use PRONTO to complete customer transactions

- Uphold service level agreement

A Successful Candidate Must Have

- Relevant experience in a similar phone-based Customer Service role (customer support, data entry, or administration)

- Strong communication and negotiation skills

- Customer Service focus and the ability to build and maintain good customer relationships

- Knowledge and understanding of customer service, sales, purchasing, logistics, accounts receivable/payable

- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-skill and maintain service level agreements

- Knowledge and skills using PRONTO or similar platform & intermediate Microsoft Office



Experience Advantage

- Experience with PRONTO software

- Experience with a Help Desk / Ticketing platform

- Experience with Live Chat –(Agent experience)

- Hospitality or FMCG industry experience
