Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Design, implement, manage, and QA/QC the entire BEC e-Commerce Digital Marketing Program:
Manage the content that the business posts to social media
Develop strategies that drive customers to the website
Create paid campaigns on social media platforms
Maintain consistent brand messaging throughout all platforms
Create email blast campaigns to target key customers
Use advanced metrics to measure the success of a marketing campaign
Keep up to date on the latest social media trends
Draft BEC Marketing Strategy Plan, cold call templates, and provide appropriate oversight of BEC digital marketing efforts.
Create any special pricing deals or sales advertising and marketing through the BEC website, via digital e-mail marketing, or in phone calls
.
Take personal responsibility for customer experience, satisfaction, and follow-up via CRM system.
Develop deep knowledge of our products, capabilities, features, and benefits to effectively market and educate key persons in our supply chain at all levels, U.S. Government procurement professionals, and existing and potential BEC customers.
Develop a sense of teamwork in BEC key persons that interact with our product suppliers at all levels, U.S. Government procurement processes, and existing and potential government and commercial customers.
Oversee both before and after-purchase marketing techniques that deliver compliant, compelling, and professional sales calls to both current customers who have already purchased from BEC and potential customers in our sales funnel designed to develop future clients.
Be able to articulate the value propositions of the BEC’s products and services to different audiences and in a variety of formats. I.e. email, newsletter PowerPoint presentations
Additional duties as required
Must Haves:
· 3+ years experience as a Digital Marketing manager; appropriate IT experience of suitable types is an appropriate substitute
· 3+ years experience in sales is preferred
· Excellent project management skills with strong attention to detail
· Demonstrated success at developing sales programs, e-commerce marketing programs, and the associated staff with an emphasis on training & management
· Ability to not only quickly understand technical concepts but to articulate the concept and practical application to prospects and customers and thrive in a highly technical environment built around customer service
· Self-Manage deadlines
· Work effectively with a myriad of partners: examples include our partners’ client service personnel, ordering clerks, deliverymen, and mid-level management in order to adequately coordinate order fulfillment, product pricing, merchandise returns, product promotions, etc.
· Provide oversight and management of any number of additional tasks required of BEC e-commerce personnel or other BEC employees.
Nice To Haves:
· 3+ years’ experience in sales and customer service is preferred
· 3+ years’ experience in procurement for the Department of Defense (DoD) and/or other Government agencies is preferred
Home Office Requirements:
