JOB OVERVIEW: The maintenance mechanic is responsible for keeping the equipment at their facility in good operating condition by performing preventive maintenance, machine tests, troubleshoots, removing technical issues, and performing emergency repairs.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Reports directly to the Maintenance Manager.

 Performs machine and equipment dismantling and installation.

 Performs trouble shooting and repair of all machines and equipment.

 Ensure that proper turn over to concerned department is done after machine or equipment maintenance work was finished.

 Performs all machine preventive maintenance schedules.

 Ensure that all machine maintenance, trouble shooting, repairs, alterations, and improvements are properly recorded.

 Ensure that all machine maintenance records are properly maintained.

 Ensure that working area is always clean and in order.

 Informs superior regarding spare parts that needs to be ordered.

 Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

 College under graduate or graduate of vocational course related to industrial maintenance.

 At least two years’ actual experience in industrial maintenance, repair and trouble shooting.

 Experienced in carding maintenance is an advantage.

 With welding knowledge/skills.

 With good working attitude, flexible and willing to be trained.
