  • Description

  • 1. Coordinates, administers, and provides employee-related health and wellness programs.

    2. Manages initial medical care, medical screening and health education.

    3. Works with Human Resources, management and employees in administering and monitoring medical leaves of absence and return to work programs.

    4. May provide worker’s compensation case management and tracking, including medical records, individual employee health records, occupational health and safety logs as applicable.

    5. Assesses internal client needs, tracks issues for problem patterns, resolves employee questions or issues, implements and supports total health projects.

    6. Manages vendor relationships and negotiates contracts.

    7. Ensures compliance with company and government requirements.

    8. Demonstrates understanding of other employee health/safety functions.

    9. Does not dispense or administer medicine.

    10. This position will handle company nurses.
