  • Develops and maintains environmental, health & safety policies and programs.
    Conducts regular Safety inspections/audits across all facilities including the inspection of worksite, equipment, work practices to
    ensure compliance with required company safety guidelines and policies; report findings and recommend changes to establish safe work
    conditions; monitor changes and/or makes follow-up inspections.
    Reports to the Management team all accident/incident occurrences within the facilities during Operations meeting.
    Performs and assists with accident investigations as needed. Ensures that processes take necessary corrective action to prevent future
    incidents. Communicates recommendations to all concerned Departments promptly. Document and record all investigated accidents.
    Tracks all accidents/incidents up to closure.
    Plans and promotes Safety programs which includes developing fire prevention programs and building evacuation procedure.
    Conducts fire brigade training and drill at least twice a year in coordination with PEZA authorities and all other drills defined in the procedure
    Assesses, develops and conducts safety training programs and seminars for all employees.
    Monitors and checks the condition/functionality of all fire safety equipment in the company (fire extinguishers, fire alarms, smoke detectors,
    emergency lights, fire hydrants and emergency cabinets)
    In charge of the establishment's revisions and/or updating of all Emergency exit plans and fire fighting equipment plans including the posting
    of such plans in strategic locations throughout the plant.
    Ensures ERT leaders/members are familiar with the site contingency plan and are capable of performing to the requirements of the plan.
    Interfaces with all ERT leaders/members regularly.
    Evaluates, prescribes and monitors implementation of PPE for all facilities in coordination with Manufacturing Engineering.
    Coordinates with all departments and subcontractors regarding emergency preparedness and response activities of the company.
    Submits daily safety report with analysis and necessary action(s) to all Departments.
    Attends to all legal requirements of IPAI including the application and securing of necessary pollution permits and renewal thereof.
    Facilitates compliance of the company with the legal requirements that may from time to time be prescribed by the law.
    Prepares and cascades informations related to epidemic outbreak of health issues/cases including the necessary prevention for the
    welfare of employees.
