  • Ideal Candidate Profile:

    Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology or any allied courses.
    At least 2 years in Export Sales of food commodities.
    With great problem-solving skills, able communicator, goal-oriented and has a “can-do” attitude.
    FMCG experience, a plus.
    A proven track record in increasing company revenue.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    a. Identify business opportunities through identification of prospects
    through research and evaluation of their position in the market
    b. Sell products by establishing contact, developing relationships with
    prospects; and providing them with all information to create the interest
    to deal with and order from RSAI
    c. Build up and maintain good relationships with customers, brokers or
    agents, and distributors; ensure that existing customers are maintained.
    d. Handle day-to-day operations effectively:
    - comply with legal and ethical restrictions on international trading,
    - provide prospective customers with price quotations & payment
    terms,
    - negotiate supply contracts,
    - arrange for the delivery of goods,
    - monitor the processing of orders,
    - check that the shipment of orders are complete and leaves according
    to the customer’s desired delivery schedule,
    - verify invoicing, freight bill/physical distribution expense,
    - send shipment advice and documents to customers,
    - ensure collection of payments, and
    - deal promptly with any customer complaints or queries that occur.
    e. Ensure that all sales activities are carried out within the agreed budgets,
    and attainment of targets on volume, revenues, profits, and within the
    given time frame.
    f. Identify product improvements and/or new products by keeping up to
    date on industry trends, market activities and competitors.
    g. Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization
    standards.
    h. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational
    workshops; reviewing industry publications; establishing personal
    networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in
    industry associations.
    i. Submit required sales reports (by collecting, analyzing and summarizing
    relevant information), and develop business presentations for discussion
    with company management.
